First caught this on MTV earlier this week (or late last) when it premiered. Gotta’ say, though, it’s catchy as hell. Nicki Minaj — I know her name, but not her stuff. This is sick, though. Not sure if everyone in hip hop is doing English dialects and whether it’s like a thing or not right now, but I love her take on it, nonetheless. Heck, maybe she’s the originator. Could be. Mr. Carey’s turn as director (he’s in it, too!) is not bad, either, though you can see the Hype Williams influence all over this piece. It’s from Angels Advocate, the Mariah Carey Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix project. Guests galore for those who like that sort of thing. Check the B. Scott cameo and the Drumline tribute ending.
